Former President Kufuor leaves for Malawi

Accra, Feb 20, GNA – Former President John Agyekum Kufuor left Accra last night for Lilongwe, Malawi, at the invitation of the African Union to join some other former African Heads of State to study the political situation in the southern African country and report their findings to the continental body. A statement signed by his Spokesperson, Mr Frank Agyeku, said former President Kufuor will lead a team of former African Heads of State including Mr Joachim Chissano of Mozambique to undertake the assignment. He will be away for five days
