Mills commended for appointing Benyiwa Doe as a minister

Gomoa Ankamo (C/R), Feb 16, GNA – Mrs Perpetual Annan, an Assistant Headmistress of Gomoa Dawurampong Senior High Technical School, has congratulated Mrs Ama Benyiwa Doe on her appointment as the Central Regional Minister. Mrs annan Amegashie also commended President John Evans Atta Mills for nominating such a dynamic lady to be the first woman to head the region. Speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Gomoa Ankamo near Apam at the weekend, she said the minister’s long experience in parliament would help her to tackle the region’s complex problems. She appealed to the minister to formulate policies that would alleviate poverty in the region. “As an educationist, I will urge you to make education and acquisition of employable skills by the youth your topmost priority” Mrs Annan said and appealed to the people of the region to support Mrs Doe.
