Workshop to promote education in Effutu and Awutu-Senya

Winneba (C/R) Feb.10, GNA-The Effutu Municipal Directorate of the Ghana Education Service, has organised a three-day capacity building workshop for 23 Circuit Supervisors and 23 scheduled officers from the Municipality and the Awutu Senya district at Winneba.

Mr. Kwadwo Atremah Afful, Director of Education in-charge of the Effutu Municipality and Awutu Senya District, addressing the participants said the move was part of efforts by the directorate to help promote education in the two districts. Mr. Afful expressed the hope that the workshop would also help sharpen the skills and competence of participants to enable them to offer effective supervision, monitoring and evolution of teaching and learning in the schools. He appealed to community members to support the pupils and the schools towards the promotion to quality education.

Mr. Afful urged the participants to use the skills and knowledge acquired at the workshop to effectively and efficiently discharge their duties to enable children in the various schools excel in their examinations.
