NDC national leaders congratulated

Koforidua, Jan. 28, GNA – Regional Organizers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), have congratulated the party’s national leaders on their nomination for appointment to serve in various capacities under President John Evans Atta Mills’ Government.

Speaking on behalf of the regional organizers in Koforidua on Wednesday, Mr. Bismarck Tawiah-Boateng, Eastern Regional Organizer of the NDC, congratulated Mr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, National organizer of the NDC, nominated for appointment as the Eastern Regional Minister, Mr. Haruna Iddrisu, NDC National Youth Organizer, nominated for appointment as Minister for Communication and Ms. Ama Benyiwa-Doe, NDC Women’s organizer, nominated for appointment as Minister for the Central Region.

Mr. Tawiah-Boateng also expressed the appreciation of the regional organizers of the party to President Mills for his recognition of the role of the NDC organizers in ensuring the victory of the party in the last election. He appealed to all those who would be appointed to serve under President Mills’ government to avoid arrogance and selfishness and work hard to enable NDC fulfil all the promises made in its manifesto. Mr. Tawiah-Boateng appealed to NDC members to give President Mills a free hand in his nominations for appointments of ministers to enable him to select people the right people to help him administer.
