Cape Coast, Jan 24, GNA – The Central Regional branch of Youth for Leadership (YFL), on Friday congratulated the President, Professor John Evans Atta Mills, and the Vice President, John Dramani Mahama, for assuming office as President and Vice President of Ghana respectively. A statement signed by Mr Prince Koomson, chairman of YFL, and Mr Isaac Agbo Tetteh, secretary of the group, said “We of the YFL pray for divine wisdom and guideline for the President, the vice president, and all our national leaders”.
It said it was the expectation of YFL “that President Atta Mills’ presidency will be peaceful, progressive, and prosperous.” The statement hoped that the good lord would grant President Mills good health to be able to serve the country, and give him a unifying spirit to unite our polarized nation.
It also expects that the good Lord would sustain the NDC in power to complete the good work President Atta Mills has just started. 24 Jan 09
