Islamic school enrolment improves

Akim Osino (E/R), Jan. 23, GNA – The Islamic Primary School at Akyem Osino has recorded an increased in enrolment as a result of the capitation grant.

The Headmistress of the school, Madam Ishman Sherifatu, told the and send their children to school instead of engaging them on farms and in trading activities at the expense of their education. Madam Sherifatu said teachers in the school were doing their best to ensure that the pupils were given good tuition and urged parents to fulfil their part of the bargain by ensuring that they provide their wards with the necessary learning materials.
