Leadership of NDC strategise to win more seats in 2012

Tarkwa(WR), Jan. 23, GNA — The leadership of National Democratic Congress (NDC) is strategising to strengthen support in constituencies it lost in Election 2008 to win more seats in 2012. Mr Dan Lardi, Tarkwa Nsuaem Constituency Organizer of NDC, speaking to Ghana News Agency at Tarkwa therefore urged activists, supporters and sympathisers not to be complacent but work hard to retain power in Election 2012.

Mr Kwame Adu, Tarkwa Nsuaem Constituency Chairman of the Party, expressed appreciation to the foot soldiers and supporters for their sincerity and commitment. He noted that being in opposition for eight years, they were not deterred but sustained their interest; remained committed and won Election 2008.

Mr Adu said the leadership would not relent on its efforts to canvass for support to build a united front to retain power in subsequent elections.
