Nkwakwa Constituency

The New Patriotic Party (NPP), polled 29,685 votes representing 72.09 percent of votes cast, in the presidential runoff in the Nkawkaw Constituency.

Mrs Abigail Amponsah, Kwahu West Municipal Electoral Officer, who declared provisional results of the 97 polling stations in the constituency, said the National Democratic Congress (NDC), had 11, 494 votes representing 27.91 percent of votes cast while 310 votes were rejected.

The NDC polling agent failed to sign the results alleging irregularities in the polls.
