EC holds prayers for peaceful election

Accra, Nov. 20, GNA – The Electoral Commission (EC) on Thursday held a prayer session for a peaceful election in December. Amidst singing and dancing, the various religious bodies represented, led by the Rev. Mrs Agnes Oware held intercessory prayers to ask God for peaceful elections. Rev. Isaac Ababio, in a message urged Ghanaians not to forget that Ghana belonged to all and that there was no place for them to go if the country was destabilised.

Political parties represented also pledged to control their members to remain peaceful before, during and after the election. The EC, in a message assured Ghanaians that all was set for a peaceful election in December. 20 Nov. 08
