JH Returns From S Korea, Germany Tour

Accra A ten-member Parliamentary Minority delegation led by its leader, Mr J.H. Mensah, returned home from Germany today after a one-week visit sponsored by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation. The delegation also took part in a week-long meeting of an inter-parliamentary union held in Korea. Briefing newsmen on arrival, Mr Mensah said the delegation held discussions with the German parliament on various aspects of their parliamentary system which might be of benefit to Ghana’s parliamentary practice. He said three basic areas of decentralization of power, namely education, small and medium-scale industries were discussed.
