Friday not public holiday, Ministry

Accra, Nov. 5, GNA – The Ministry of the Interior says Friday, November 7, 2008 will not be observed as a public holiday.

A press release signed by the sector minister, Dr Kwame Addo-Kufuor said the statutory Farmers’ Day holiday, which is Friday, December 5, 2008 would remain the public holiday.

This year’s Farmers’ day has been pushed forward by one month because of the elections scheduled for December 7.
