Twifo Wamaso gets new queen

Twifo Wamaso(C/R), Oct. 24, GNA – The Twifo Wamaso community on Saturday outdoored and installed a new queen, Nana Efua Badua IV, at a colourful ceremony witnessed by the whole town and its environs. The 30-year old seamstress known in private life as Mrs Gifty Agyare was sworn in by Nana Fi Agyeman II, Chief of Wamaso, who urged the queen to groom young ladies of the area into “virtuous women” who will also focus on attaining good education as well as learn trades to secure them a brighter future. He asked the queen to work in concert with the Ebusua Panyin to help facilitate the development of the area. For her part, Nana Badua pledged to unite people in the area and reminded them that they are one people and therefore they should eschew any divisive tendencies that could impinge on their progress. She also advised the youngsters in the town to take their studies seriously because education could take them far and offer them a better future.
