The President listens to him every week day while having breakfast.He has no choice.This man is the first person to greet the nation’s Chief Executive Officer every morning — ‘Good Morning, Mr President’ on Radio Gold 90.5 Fm. Drunken Koofori is a real bother to Mr. President. Drunken as he may sound, Koofori never takes a drop of alcohol. Never! Whenever he stars in the popular screen drama ‘EFIEWURA’ as the drunken and womanising husband of a dutiful and faithful wife,he plays the role NATURALLY without taking in any alcohol beverage.

This heavily contradicts the opinion many have of him as a notorious drunkard.The Radio Gold presenter is known in private life as Samuel Seth Kwabena Kyere Karikari. Koofori was invited to participate in the National Association of Broadcasters(NAB) annual radio show in Austin,Texas, USA.

The two-day event which came off from september 17 to 19 and dubbed “The NAB Radio Show has given Koofori a once-a-year opportunity to network with thousands of his peers from stations of all formats and markets sizes.

Koofori is a popular Actor and a Comedian as well.His acting career has seen him in prominent productions like, Ghana @ 50, Koofori in London, 50 Thousand, Koti Academy, Odo Pa, and a host of others. He has been a regular comedian on TV3’s Music Music and Laugh & Rock. He has also featured in a number of television commercials and video clips including Obiaa nye Obiaa, African money (Sidney), Ye pra pra (Praye), Pusher,Playboy and many more.
