Sekondi, Sept. 22, GNA – Papa Owusu Ankomah, Member of Parliament for Sekondi, has reminded the youth to avoid acts that could jeopardise their future. “It will be irresponsible for any member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to violate the peace of the country,” he said when the constituency re-launched its fitness club at Sekondi on Sunday. He said the youth are vital assets for the nation and they should develop their lives instead of engaging in unhealthy partisan politics. Papa Ankomah said the security agencies would not spare any individual found to have engaged in violent acts, intimidation, threat and others. Mr. Mike B. Ansah, secretary of the constituency, said the election must be won with ideas and not violence and urged the youth to tell the success stories of the NPP to others who are not members of the party. 22 Aug 08
