Mr James Amissah, Acting General Secretary of the Association, told the Ghana News Agency on Friday. He said since the government machinery solely depended on civil servants to operate, care should be taken that their work is not disrupted as a result unprofessional conduct.

Mr Amissah said, while exercising their democratic rights to vote, civil servants must do so in a matured manner to ensure peaceful and smooth elections., He said though they may have their political affiliations, they have the duty to ensure that peace and tranquillity prevails in the country to promote economic growth. 15 Sept. 08
