NGO cautions contestants to stop giving empty promises

Amanase (E/R), Sept. 12, GNA – Mr Freeman Madzi, Executive Director, Abibiman Sankofa Cultural Movement (ASCUM), an NGO, on Thursday urged parliamentary contestants to desist from giving promises they cannot honour.

Mr Madzi was addressing a meeting of about 450 members of ASCUM at Amanase in the Eastern Region.

The association has 850 registered members from 26 branches in the Suhum Kraboa Coaltar District. He urged members to vote wisely during the December polls. 12 Sept. 08
