Two schools in Brong Ahafo Region receive vehicles

Sunyani(BAR), Sept. 11, GNA – Government has presented two Nissan Pick-ups to authorities of Notre Dame Girls Senior High School at Fiapre and OLA Girls Senior High School at Kenyase. A statement issued in Sunyani and signed by Mr Francis Boateng, Brong Ahafo Regional Coordinating Director said the schools were selected because of their training for girls. It said Mr Ignatius Baffour-Awuah, Brong-Ahafo Regional Minister, presenting keys to the vehicles said they were to enhance administration and urged the authorities to maintain them regularly to prolong their life span. Reverend Sister Martha Davis, Headmistress of OLA Girls Senior High and Ms Margaret Lucy Donkor of Notre Dame Senior High, received the keys on behalf of their schools. They expressed appreciation to the government for the gesture and gave the assurance that they would be used for the intended purposes and promised to ensure their regular maintenance. 11 Sept. 08
