Suhum, Aug. 29, GNA – Armed robbers last Sunday night attacked Dr Albert Antobra Boateng, Suhum Kraboa Coaltar District Director of Health Services, at his residence at Suhum.

The robbers, numbering four and covering their faces with masks, made away with some of his personal effects, mobile phones and cash. A source at the Suhum Police station who spoke to the GNA on condition of anonymity said the robbers forced the main door of the building opened.

He said one of the robbers pointed an AK 47 assault rifle at the medical doctor and demanded that he surrendered all money he had on him or he would be killed.

When Dr Boateng told the robbers that he had no money on him, one of them got angry and hit him with the gun while the other members of the gang ransacked the room and made away with the items.
