BAF Members Urged To Repay Loans

Kenyasi(B/A) The District Chief Executive for Asutifi, Mr Francis Fordjour, has cautioned members of the Business Assistance Fund (BAF) not to regard loans given them as a boot The DCE was addressing a meeting organized by BAF at Kenyasi on Monday on the disbursement of the 20 per cent district assemblies common fund as loan. Mr Fordjour said the loan is payable in 18 months and advised beneficiaries to work hard to repay it within the stipulated time. He said the loan was made possible due to the confidence the government has in them and hoped they would live up to expectation and reciprocate the gesture with hard work to expand their businesses. The meeting was attended by skilled artisans, bakers, market women and shop-keepers.
