Fire razes kitchen at Osino

Akim Osino (E/R), July 18, GNA – Disaster struck at Akim Osino in the Fanteakwa District on Thursday when fire razed down a kitchen belonging to Madam Agnes Kwabua, a 60-year-old farmer, burning to ashes five sheep, four goats and 20 fowls. Speaking to Ghana News Agency at Osino, Madam Kwabua said on that day she felt slightly indisposed and went to bed early when at about 0100 hours she was awakened by the noise of the fire. Madam Kwabua said she raised the alarm and neighbours got up to help put off the fire which took them about one hour to bring under control.
