Shortage of registration forms hit three Centres in Winneba

Winneba(CR), July 17, GNA – Shortage of registration forms for the National Identification Exercise at three registration centres in Winneba has led to a temporal suspension of the exercise. They are, Wesley Hall, Adense and Taxi Rank centres. Most of the residents told Ghana News Agency that they arrived at the centres round 0500 hours and joined long queues but by 1000 hours they were informed by the Registration Officers that there was a shortage of the forms. They said they were asked to wait for the supply of more forms but to no avail at 1400 when the officials went on lunch break. Meanwhile there are long queues at most of the registration centres
