Christians urged to help salvage society

Ejisu (Ash), June 10, GNA- Reverend Samuel Kwaku Antwi, Minister in-charge of the Mankranso branch of the Presbyterian Church, has called on Christians to help salvage society from evil by abiding by the principles of their religion.

He asked them to dress decently, uphold morality and continue to be the light and salt of the world to inspire unbelievers, especially the youth to emulate Christian values.

Rev. Antwi said these at a day’s conference, organised by the Bantama branch of the Young People’s Guild (YPG) of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Kumasi, at Ejisu in the Ejisu-Juaben Municipality.

He asked the youth not to succumb to negative foreign cultures and practices but to uphold “our own rich cultural heritage.” Rev. Antwi called on members of the YPG to intensify their evangelism to win more souls for the Church.
