Madam Dapaah re-elected unopposed

Kumasi, May 26, GNA – Madam Cecilia Abena Dapaah, Member of Parliament for Bantama, was on Sunday re-elected unopposed as New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate for the December election in its primaries held in Kumasi.
She was elected by acclamation by all the 70 delegates in an election supervised by the Electoral Commission (EC).
Mr Sam Cudjoe, Ashanti Regional Secretary of NPP, expressed happiness for the peaceful re-election of Madam Dapaah and appealed to the people to bury their differences and rally behind her to ensure victory in December.
Madam Dapaah, who is also the Minister of State in-charge of Water Resources, Works and Housing thanked the delegates for re-electing her and promised to work hard to ensure the development of the area. She called for support from the people to ensure resounding victory for the NPP.
