Amansie Central Confirms New DCE

Kumasi, May 13, GNA – Mr. Edward Kwame Annin, a 48-year-old teacher, has been confirmed as the District Chief Executive for the Amansie Central District in the Ashanti Region.

He polled 17 votes out of 23 votes cast, representing 73.9 per cent. Addressing the Assembly Members after the election Mr. Osei Assibey-Antwi, Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister said, the development of the district should be the concern of the people. He appealed to the assembly members to work in unity and support the Mr Annin to ensure the development of the district. Mr Annin promised to work hand in hand with the Member of Parliament for the area, assembly members and other stakeholders to ensure the development of the area.
