O.A Travel and Tour supports May Day

The Management of O.A Travel and Tour, a tour and transport operators, has donated 200 pieces of ‘T’ Shirts in addition to transport services worth GH¢2000 to Golden Star Bogoso/Prestea limited (GSBPL) branch of Ghana Mine Workers Union (GMWU) at a ceremony at Bogoso on Wednesday.

Presenting the items, Mr Jonathan Perry Kweku Ainoo, Marketing Manager of O.A Travel and Tour, said the donation is a token of his company’s support towards the May Day celebration.

He recalled that last year, a similar support and transport services were provided to convey the workers to the National May Day Celebration in Accra and that of Western region.

Mr Ainoo said the donation was to create a harmonious relation with the workers and the Management of the Mine.

Mr Francis Eduku, Human Resources Manager, GSBPL, who was pleased with the gesture of O.A Travel and Tour said the donation would strengthen the bond of relationship with the Mine and O.A Travel and Tour.

He said the gesture would also motivate the workers to put in their best in terms of performance.

He said management’s efforts had been augmented by the donation of O.A Travel and Tour.

Mr Usumanu Bukari, Secretary of GMWU, GSBPL branch, on behalf of the workers and management of the mine, thanked O.A Travel and Tour for the donation and hoped that it would continue providing excellent services to the workers.
