Abetifi Constituency NPP gets bicycles

Abetifi, April 30, GNA – Mr Peter Wiafe Peprah, an aspiring parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Abetifi constituency, on Wednesday donated 104 bicycles to the constituency. The bicycles were meant for distribution to all the 104 polling stations in the constituency.

Mr Peprah said the donation was his contribution towards the mobilization of people for the voters registration exercise. He said he had donated 10 mobile phones to the Presbyterian University College at Abetifi branch of TESCON and promised to give each of the constituency executive’s phones to enhance effective communication and monitoring of the December elections.

Mr Peprah, a former Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry in the National Democratic (NDC) government, said he had also presented 200 bags of cement for the construction of the Pepease-Bukruwa road and provided water tankers for some communities in the area. Mr Asare Akoto, Constituency Youth Organizer who received the bicycles, suggested to polling station chairmen to give the bicycles to the youth to use to step up their campaign in the area.
