MP presents television sets to schools

Techiman, April 24, GNA – Mr. Alex Kyeremeh, Member of Parliament for Techiman North, has presented three 24-inch television sets to three schools in Techiman municipality. The beneficiary schools are Buoyem Senior High, Tuobodom Senior High and Offuman Senior High schools. Making the presentation Mr. Kyeremeh said the donation was financed from his share of the MPs Common Fund. He said the gesture was primarily aimed at improving teaching and learning in the constituency.

Mr. Kyeremeh appealed to senior high school graduates without good passes in Mathematics, English and Science to take advantage of the free extra classes he had instituted at Aworowa and Tuobodom to better their grades. Mr. Kwadwo Osei, Municipal Director of Education who received the TV sets on behalf of the schools, expressed gratitude to the MP.
