Ahamadiyya leader departs

Accra, April 22, GNA- Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad Kahalif Mazsih VI, spiritual leader of the Ahamadiyya Muslim Mission worldwide, left Accra on Tuesday after participating in the celebration of centenary anniversary of the Mission.

During his visit, he called on President John Agyekum Kufuor, formally launched the Ahamadiyya agricultural farm in Pomadze, near Winneba, opened a mosque at the Ahamadiyya Secondary School at Gomoa Potsim in the Central Region.

He also opened another mosque at the Ahamadiyya Muslim Missionary Training College at Ekumfi Essurkyir in the region. Sheikh Ahmad who is the fifth spiritual leader of the Ahamadiyya Muslim Mission was seen off at the airport by Mawulvi Wahab and some senior officials of the Ahamadiyya Muslim Mission in Ghana.
