A 42-year-old pregnant woman has been attacked and raped by armed robbers in the Asunafo North constituency of the Brong Ahafo Region.
This incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday when the woman whose name was not made known was sleeping in her room with her children.
Peace FM’s Brong Ahafo regional correspondent, King George, narrated on Midday News bulettin that the armed robbers broke into her room and demanded for money and any other valuable item, but after not being able to retrieve anything, they decided to rape her through her anus.
The issue has been reported to the police and investigations are ongoing.
