A 70-year-old fetish priestess by name Afia Ataa Mole has been found dead in a gutter at Busunya in the Nkoranza North District of the Brong Ahafo Region.
An eyewitness, Boateng Emmanuel, a Security Man at the Teachers Credit Union where the incident happened, tells mynewsgh.com that the body Okonfour Afia Mole was found around 8pm on Saturday while it was raining.
He indicated that there was a heavy rain that filled up a big gutter in the area. He mentioned that the gutters are very big that people have difficulty in crossing adding that another woman also lost her life through the same the way.
He called on government to work on the drainage systems in the area to avert such occurrences in the future.
The body of the deceased has the deposited at the Saint Theresa’s Hospital morgue in Nkoranza.
Meanwhile, the Nkoranza North Police Command say they do not suspect foul play, but they are waiting for the post-mortem to determine the cause of death.
