Police in Akatsi have arrested a traditional herbalist in the area for defiling a seven-year-old girl.
Police say the herbalist, 40 lured the young girl to a location called Abadzi-vorkofe near Akatsi and had sex with her.
Investigations are currently ongoing while the suspect is still in custody helping with the process.
XYZ News correspondent in the Volta region, Emmanuel Atukpa, who spoke to the father of the victim said he looked worried.
The police told Emmanuel Atukpa the suspect could be arraign before court very soon.
