$64m 1000-bed project starts at University of Ghana

Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, has broken ground for the construction of a $64 million project at the University of Ghana, Legon.

The project which consists of five colleges to boost the collegiate system and a one thousand bed students’ hostel, is being funded jointly by the University and Africa Integras.

It is on a Build, Operate and Transfer basis for 25 years.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Amissah-Arthur charged universities and public agencies to adopt new ways of putting up infrastructure.
