63 babies recorded at Kasoa and Winneba health facilities

Sixty-three babies, 33 males and 30 females were born at the Winneba Government Hospital and the Kasoa Health Centre during the Easter celebration.

Miss Philomena Annan, Principal Midwifery Officer of the Winneba Government Hospital told the Ghana News Agency that 37 babies- 19 males and 18 females were delivered at the hospital.

She said 10 males and 11females were born on Good Friday, four males and a female on Holy Saturday, three males and five females on Easter Sunday and two males and a female on Easter Monday.

Ms Dina Adjei, Senior Staff Midwife of the Kasoa Health Centre said 14 males and 12 females were born at the Kasoa Health during the festivity.

Madam Adjei said four males and four females were born on Good Friday, nine boys and four girls on Holy Saturday and a boy and three girls on Easter Sunday.
