400 pupils of Asabadie Primary squat in class

About 400 pupils of the Asabadie D/A Primary School at Akyemansa district in the Eastern region have to squat during classes hours.

According to school authorities, a six-unit ultra-modern classroom block built for the school through the GETFUND is without furniture.

Starr News can also confirm the ICT laboratory which was also part of the GETFUND package is empty.

The headmaster of the school, John Obiri, told Starr News the situation is impeding smooth studies.

Meanwhile, the District Chief Executive of the area, Tom Bodu is appealing to philanthropists to donate computers to the school to stock the ICT lab.
