A combined team of personnel from the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) and Customs, Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) investigators have arrested four members of a syndicate operating within the clearing chain at the Tema Port. The syndicate was involved in the smuggling of uncustomed goods from the port, resulting in the loss of several billions of cedis in revenue to the state.
