4 die, 18 injured in Nkawkaw car crash

Four people are confirmed dead in a ghastly accident on the Nkawkaw stretch of the Accra-Kumasi Highway.

At least 18 people were injured in the accident, which occurred on Friday Morning.

The bodies have been taken to the morgue while the injured have been taken to hospital for medical attention. It involved a 33-seater Benz passenger bus, according to report.

Ashanti Regional Commander of the Motor Traffic and Transport Union of the Ghana Police Service, Chief Superintendent Samuel Tetteh, confirmed the accident to XYZ News.

He said they were investigating the cause of the accident.
