38 Detained Tuna Technical SHS students granted bail

Police have granted bail to 38 students of the Tuna Technical High School after Thursday night’s riots.

The students went on rampage to protest a directive from a teacher to a female student to take off an unauthorized clothing in front of her colleagues.

The angry students vandalized and looted school properties in the process. The school has since been shut down indefinitely.

The Police Commander for the Tuna Sawla Galbar District in the Northern region, ASP Francis Numado told Starr News the arrested students have been granted police inquiry bail.
