37 Hospital ICU closed

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the 37 Military Hospital has been shut down to allow for a fumigation exercise.

The delicate unit of the hospital will remain closed until Monday, April 25, 2016, according to the spokesperson of the Ghana Armed Forces Lt. Col Aggrey Quarshie.

Lt. Col Quarshie said no admissions will be allowed throughout the three-day period for the fumigation.

“The Intensive Care Unit would however be operational from Monday 25 April 2016,” he assured.

Authorities of the hospital have therefore asked the general public to cooperate with them for the period while the Intensive Care Unit is being fumigated.

The fumigation exercise forms part of periodic fumigation exercises at the 37 Military Hospital, the statement added.
