37 hospital appeals to philanthropists to donate personally to facility

The 37 Military Hospital has entreated all non-governmental organisations and philanthropists who wish to donate to accident victims to do so personally at the hospital but not to individuals.

A press release signed by Major F.K Ampobi for the Director of Public Relations and copied to the Ghana News Agency, said it has come to the notice of the authorities of the hospital that certain unknown persons go round soliciting for funds under the pretext of donating the proceeds to accident victims in the hospital.

The release said these persons are reported to be operating around Spintex and Sakumono area and stated that the hospital administration has no knowledge of or authorised anyone to operate in that capacity.**
