2ND DEPUTY SPEAKER APPEALS TO CHIEFS

The Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mr.. Freddie Blay, has urged the chiefs and people in the Ellembele Constituency in the Western Region to bury their political and sectional difference’s and live in peace in order to develop the area. Mr.. Blay, who is the MP for Ellembele, gave the advise when he paid a courtesy call on the chiefs of Asenda and Kikam during the Kundum festival. He asked parents to invest in their children’s education to ensure a good future for them. The Chief of Asenda, Nana Amihere Kpanyili, and the chief of Kikam, Nana Kermah Bertu, both appealed to the government to help provide their communities with good drinking water and public places of convenience. They also appealed to non-resident citizens to pay regular visits to their hometowns and help in their development projects. End
