Twenty four suspected prostitutes and drug peddlers have been arrested by the Police in Tamale in the Northern Region.
The suspects were rounded up after a combined team of security forces undertook a special exercise on Tuesday which forms part of the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly Chief Executive Officer, Musah Superior’s campaign to rid the metropolis of criminals.
They are currently in police custody being screened and the police is expected to hold a media briefing Wednesday morning.
