22 billion cedis approved for expansion of health institutions

Accra, April 28, GNA – The government has approved 22 billion cedis from the HIPC fund for the expansion of 21 health institutions throughout the country.

A letter signed by Mr A. Osei Akoto, Deputy Minister of Finance, mentioned the beneficiary institutions as Cape Coast Nurses’ Training College, Sekondi Nurses’ Training College, Community Health Nurses’ Training College, Esiama, Community Health Nurses’ Training College, Fomena and Rural Training School, Kintampo.

Others are Community Health Nurses’ Training School, Navrongo, Nurses Training College, Korle-Bu, Nurses’ Training College, Pantang, Nurses’ Training College, Tamale, Nurses’ Training College, Ho, Nurses’ Training College, Sunyani, Nurses’ Training College, Kumasi and Midwifery Training School, Bolgatanga.

The rest are Nurses’ Training College, Koforidua, Nurses’ Training College, Berekum, Nurses Training College, Nkawkaw, Nurses Training College, Agogo, Midwifery Training School, Offinso, Nurses Training College, Tibie, Nurses Training College, Jirapa and Nurses’ Training College, Bawku.
