2017 NSMQ champions present trophy to Akufo-Addo

Winners of the 2017 National Science and Math quiz Prempeh College were at the Flagstaff House on Friday to present their trophy to the president.

Prempeh College beat St Thomas Aquinas Senior High School and Adisadel College in the final on June 29 to annex the trophy, their fourth since the quiz began in 1993.

The Kumasi-based school was represented by Sarfo-Ansah Wonder and Daniel Osei Badu in the 24th edition.

They have been awarded scholarships including a package from Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. The entire team including Prempeh College’s headmaster was at the seat of government to present the trophy.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo used the opportunity to congratulate the school, nicknamed Amanfour, again for winning the contest.
