2014 poses challenges to Ghana – Bishop

The General Overseer of Zion Praise Chapel International, Bishop Bernard Ogyiri-Asare, has entreated Ghanaians to seek God’s divine intervention and direction in view of the challenges 2014 poses to the nation.

He asked the leadership of the country to unite all Ghanaians irrespective of one’s political and religious inclinations in order to overcome the challenges.

Bishop Ogyiri-Asare made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Effia near Takoradi.

He underscored the need for Ghanaians to make sacrifices instead of siphoning state resources for their parochial interests.

The bishop said it is only prayer that could change the misfortunes that would befall the nation and asked the citizenry to pray for peace and God’s direction.

He asked for God’s wisdom and guidance for the leadership of the country so as to lead the nation in the right direction.
