1998 batch of LASSEC celebrates former headmaster as he turns 66

The 1998 year group of Lassia Tuolu Senior High School, a well performing second cycle institution in the Wa West District of the Upper West Region, on Sunday celebrated the 66th birthday of their first Headmaster, Mr. Andrew A. Kpan.

The celebration took place at the Pipers Spot in Bamahu.

A brief ceremony was held at the Saint Benedict Catholic Church to offer sincere prayer for long life and prosperity for the headmaster. After the mass service, the past students held a reception at Pipers Spot in Bamahu where they recollected their school days together with their first Headmaster.

The old students presented a citation, a smock and an undisclosed amount of money to the former headmaster.

One of the past student who delivered a speech on behalf of his colleagues, Abubakar Issahaku, expressed his enormous gratitude to the Headmaster for giving them a quality training which translated into making them responsible in life.

The headmaster, Mr. Andrew Kpan for his part, commended the past students for remembering his good deeds and wished them more prosperity in their endeavours.

LassiaTuolu SHS is the only public Senior high School in the Wa West District of the Upper West Region and was established in 1995. The school has since its inception, witnessed and produced successful professionals in various fields.
