17 students suspended for cheating in exams at Takoradi Tech. University

Seventeen students of the Takoradi Technical University in the Western region have been suspended for examination malpractices.

This was after the disciplinary committee of the school found them guilty of the misconduct, Starr News has learnt.

Two others were warned, with one of them suffering a paper cancellation to atone for his conduct.

In all, the offending students included 14 male and 3 female students.

Senior Principal Public Relations Officer at the Takoradi Technical University (TTU) Ekow Payin Richardson, confirmed the suspension to Empire News’ Emmanuel Ohene Gyan.

He said the move is intended to maintain discipline in the school.
