150 orphans and widows receive support

One hundred and fifty (150) orphans in the Atwima-Nwabiagya and Atwima-Mponua Districts have been presented with gifts running into thousands of Ghana cedis.

Each of them received a full piece of wax print, provisions and soft drinks.

These were donations from a benevolent society “Samaria Ayemye-Mma Som.”

Mr. Charles Amankwaah, its Founder, handing over the items to the beneficiaries at a ceremony held at Abuakwa, said it was their contribution towards making life a bit comfortable for them.

The society would continue to be part of the effort at helping to bring some relief to the suffering and the vulnerable.

He appealed to the wealthy and the privileged to show love and care for the poor and socially disadvantaged.**
