15 passengers critically injured in an accident near Ho

Ho, Feb. 1, GNA – A tipper truck loaded with sand on Friday rammed int= o an Accra bound bus near the Catholic Secretariat in Ho seriously injuring 1= 5 passengers.

It took personnel of the Ghana National Fire and other rescuers about 20 minutes to cut through the front section of the bus to free the passengers who were rushed to the Volta Regional Hospital. Police Chief Inspector Lovelace Kofi Glago told the Ghana News Agency that the tipper truck over shot a speed rump veered from its lane and ran into the bus.

Wailing relatives of the victims and sympathisers thronged the hospital.
