$14m Hospital for Airport City

Construction work on a $14 million Airport City Hospital and Medical Centre is due to begin in Accra next January.

The 60-bed hospital would be built and equipped with the state of the art facilities by a Dutch consortium in collaboration with their Ghanaian counterparts.

It will be located at the Airport City Project near the Kotoka International Airport. The chief Executive Officer of the project, Dr. Joseph A. Boateng, disclosed this to newsmen in Accra during the mounting of a signboard to formally introduce the project to the public.

Dr. Boateng said the project is expected to be completed 2002
