1,300 unposted graduates to picket at Labour Min. today

Unemployed graduates of the School of Hygiene will this morning picket at the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relation to demand posting.

According to the graduates, the ministry has failed to fulfill its promise to address their grievances by January this year.

The unposted graduates carried out a similar exercise in October last year.

Spokesperson for the group Prince Dzramado told Starr News their lives have been miserable as a result of the situation.

“We have about five batches at home with over 1,300 graduands just sitting at home with nothing to do. The labour minster keeps promising us that he was going to resolve the problem but nothing is coming up. So we have decided to come together to stage this protest so they know that we are truly suffering,” he said.
